Barcelo San Jose Hotel

Fairly clean hotel, I loved staff and food. I was here for 2 nights and ate at poolside restaurant on 6th floor. The beds where comfortable and there were climate control, a safe box and multi-channel television.

Came with my children, everything was perfect.

Ideal hotel, loved its caring staff and free breakfast. A mini-fridge-bar, a seating area and a writing table in our superior queen room were realy useful during our stay.

Good rooms and food, we appreciated our stay in the hotel. The room was wonderful with a good view, had wake-up service, that's cool.

I was offered a reasonable breakfast with omelets prepared on the spot. Also, I appreciated how secure the location was. Also, this hotel was located 2 miles away from Kid's museum.

Actually everything was great, my next choice again in San Jose. The room was luxurious with a large bed, I appreciated it. They offered me excellent meals, had variety of options to choose from.

Accommodation was fairly large and nicely appointed, beds were exceptionally comfortable. Buffet breakfast with omelets prepared on the spot, I appreciated it. Thanks to a good service I had a such wonderful stay: D

The hotel itself was a quiet option. I appreciated that the room was clean with a large bed. The restaurant had excellent food.

We only stayed here for 1 night, as we didn't have time, nonetheless everything was good.

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay. We got superior premium room with nice view, a hot tub and free refreshments, had pleasant experience here. It was in a very central setting near of the airport.

The stay here was really really nice, appreciated the hotel, it was fairly clean with perfect location next to Costa Rica, central San Jose, the centre of Madrid.

Lovely hotel, super staff, beautiful location in the suburbs. It offered savoury buffet breakfast for soup. I loved the room, the bed was lovely. It was good to have hot drinks in the pool bar. Could use their free parking.

Food and facilities, they were fab here. Comfortable room, extremely comfy bed and tiled bathroom. Cold dishes in an average restaurant. The pool was amazing and the garden — lovely.

Hotel was spotless, rooms were a nice size and courteous staff. The property had a central position. Perfect white beach, that was what we enjoyed. The restaurant was fantastic and offered delicious dishes.

Truly enjoyed our stay, had peaceful 3 days overall. Staff was outstandingly helpful, room was luxurious, buffet breakfast was fine. Very central location of this very traditional hotel was a bonus. We got a room with a bath.

It was a fabulous time staying at this good safe hotel. We loved the fashioned rooms and small garden. The airport was 0.5 miles away from here, ideal location.

Totally fairly nice experience. Good enough room, kind staff, well maintained pool. The location is absolutely perfect, a 15-minute walk from a bus station. Truly beautiful view of hills. Pretty average breakfast, impeccable service.

Hotel was fairly clean and in a secure location, staff was exceptional. Quite spacious suite and extra comfy bed. Loved that the poolside bar was working. The team there provided special service. Food was perfect and I have nothing but good memories from this trip...

The breakfast was excellent and the staff was friendly. Send regards to driver. A bathtub in the bathroom was a plus. Shuttle was provided here too.

Noisy street!

We really enjoyed everything there, especially the comfort and staff. El Garaje de Brosed, where you can eat, is only a short distance to the hotel.

Breakfast was FREE, the best we had in San Jose. We liked staff and facilities here.
